Bio

Olivia Bliss is an artist, creative consultant, and educator, with extensive experience in the creative industries.

Expertise includes successful fundraising and bid writing (Arts Council England, J.G. Graves Charitable Trust, Sheffield City Council, Culture Consortium), partnership development (The Snowdrop Project, Flux Rotherham, Wagamama, Clifton Park Museum, Yorkshire Artspace and more) policy writing (equality & diversity, safeguarding, privacy, health & safety, culture & sustainability) community engagement, education & outreach with Universities, community groups, local authorities- as well as curating exhibitions & events.

Olivia is the founder and previous creative director of Carousel Print Studio (2021-2025), and established Carousel as a thriving creative community and arts charity (CIO). The charity provides vital access to specialist facilities and an inclusive creative community; which aims to improve mental wellbeing through arts education.

Graduating from the Glasgow School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 2009, Olivia was awarded the Glasgow Print Studio Prize and has since participated in artist residencies in Portugal, Iceland, and France, as well as exhibiting widely across the UK and Europe. Olivia's artistic practice explores the intersections between art and ecology, with themes of mapping, traces, protest, materiality and memory. Her art reflects upon our evolving relationship with natural environments and direct sensory experiences of landscapes.
